Abstract
Utilization of sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists for type 2 diabetes patients with cardiovascular risk remains low.
- Knowledge and attitudes of physicians regarding SGLT-2 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonists were assessed.
- Physicians' practices in prescribing these medications for patients with cardiovascular risk were evaluated.
- Recommendations for SGLT-2 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonists are not consistently followed in clinical settings.
