Abstract
In a randomized trial, semaglutide improved multiple health metrics over 32 weeks in people with HIV and lipohypertrophy.
- Semaglutide is associated with significant reductions in weight and total fat.
- Improvements in visceral fat, blood pressure, glucose metabolism, and lipid levels were observed.
- The effects on subclinical cardiovascular health were specifically evaluated as a secondary analysis.
