- Eveningness is linked to adjustment difficulties in children and adolescents.
- Greater sleep problems were found to be associated with eveningness.
- Sleep quantity did not mediate the link between eveningness and adjustment difficulties.
- Only sleep problems, and not sleep quantity, predicted internalizing problems and problem behaviors in children.
