Abstract
A 29-year-old active-duty male with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes, class II obesity (BMI 35.6 kg/m²), dyslipidemia, and MASLD showed marked improvement in metabolic health over approximately 12 months of tirzepatide treatment.
- Tirzepatide treatment led to significant improvements in weight loss, glycemic control, and liver health.
- The patient also received lifestyle modifications and adjunctive medications as part of the comprehensive treatment approach.
- Improvements were observed across multiple metabolic health domains, suggesting potential benefits for similar individuals.
- Findings may indicate a need for further research to assess tirzepatide's effectiveness in the military population.
