Participants who consumed 1-2 drinks/day of wine had higher odds of optimal cardiovascular health scores compared to those who never drank wine.

  • Consuming 1-2 drinks/day of wine is linked to better cardiovascular health outcomes.
  • Higher consumption of beer (>2 drinks/day) is associated with lower odds of optimal cardiovascular health.
  • Heavy liquor consumption (>2 drinks/day) is also associated with poorer cardiovascular health.
