Correlations were found between chronotype and meal timing, with r values of 0.24 for breakfast and 0.19 for lunch.

  • Evening types may experience greater social jetlag compared to morning types.
  • Chronotype is positively associated with meat consumption.
  • Social jetlag is negatively associated with bean consumption.
  • Perceived sleep debt is positively associated with the intake of beverages and dairy products.
  • Perceived sleep debt is negatively associated with the consumption of cereals and pasta.
