Abstract

The GLP-1 prescription market share shifted significantly from 2008 to 2023.

  • By 2023, prescriptions were more evenly distributed among GLP-1 medications, including Victoza, Trulicity, and Ozempic.
  • Byetta, which was previously dominant, saw a decrease in its market share over the same period.
  • Rybelsus and Mounjaro accounted for smaller shares of the GLP-1 prescription market in 2023.
