  • High-fiber diets are associated with reductions in inflammatory markers, such as IL-6 and TNF-α, by 15-40%.
  • Loss of butyrate-producing bacteria is associated with T2DM, indicating a potential link between gut health and diabetes risk.
  • Bile acid-based therapies have shown promise in improving metabolic indices and reducing oxidative stress in T2DM patients.
