In a cohort of 12,322 male twins, 454 cases of prostate cancer were identified over 12 years of follow-up.

  • No association was found between ever working nights and the risk of prostate cancer.
  • Duration of night work also showed no significant link to prostate cancer development.
  • Analysis of twin pairs with different cancer outcomes revealed no significant relationship between night work and prostate cancer.
