Possible added benefits of taking quercetin and curcumin together in adults with mild to moderate long COVID

Abstract

After 8 weeks, overall symptom burden significantly decreased from a median of 50 to 32 on the COVID-19 Yorkshire Rehabilitation Scale.

  • Quercetin-curcumin co-supplementation may reduce patient-reported fatigue and pain severity.
  • Improvements in physical health-related quality of life were observed following supplementation.
  • Numerical changes in cognitive function, anxiety, sleep quality, and autonomic symptoms were noted, but did not achieve statistical significance.
  • The supplementation was generally well tolerated, with no serious adverse events reported.
