A total of 492 resident physicians were included, with a mean social jetlag of 1.37 hours.

  • Mean sleep duration was 7.15 hours on workdays and 8.36 hours on free days.
  • The average sleep debt reported was 1.59 hours.
  • 31.9% of residents experienced 2 or more hours of sleep debt.
  • 21.8% reported experiencing severe social jetlag.
