Updated
Abstract
Ninety-four students reported a 1.5-hour delay in bedtime and a 2.0-hour delay in wake-up times during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Students shifted their daily rhythm toward eveningness as indicated by changes in chronotype.
- Sleep duration increased for some students, particularly those who had shorter sleep duration prior to the pandemic.
- Quality of sleep improved among students with shorter sleep duration before the pandemic.
- Both physical and psychological aspects of quality of life worsened during the pandemic, while the environmental aspect improved.
