Accuracy of the Persian version of the Munich ChronoType Questionnaire
Updated
Abstract
A sample of 250 Iranian participants demonstrated a significant negative relationship between the Munich ChronoType Questionnaire and the Reduced Morningness-Eveningness Questionnaire, particularly with the mid-sleep time on free days.
- The Persian version of the Munich ChronoType Questionnaire (MCTQ) was validated for assessing chronotype.
- A significant relationship was found between MCTQ components and the Reduced Morningness-Eveningness Questionnaire (rMEQ).
- The mid-sleep time on free days (MSF) exhibited the strongest correlation with rMEQ scores.
- No significant relationship was observed between MCTQ parameters and the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS).
- Cut-off values for the corrected mid-sleep time (MSFsc) were established to categorize chronotypes.
